EVENTS

On 13-16 April, 2010, the 17thAll-Russian Vernadsky Youth Readings took place in Moscow. Vernadsky Youth Readings are conducted annually with the assistance of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Russian Academy of Sciences Commission on developing scientific heritage of Vernadsky and Vernadsky Foundation.

On 25 March, 2010, Vernadsky Foundation, together with the New Society Civic Organization, Constructive Ecological Movement of Russia “Cedar”, International Foundation for Survival and Development of Humanity, with the assistance of the Regional Development Comission and the Club of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, the Committees of the State Duma and the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Recourses Use and Ecology of the Russian Federation (Rosprirodnadzor) and scientific institutions, held a round table discussion on the subject “The Green Movement in the Area of Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency”.

National Ecological Award 2008-Russian Federation

Vernadsky Foundation, 23 October 2008 - The fifth annual National Ecological Award ceremony was held at the Council of the Assembly of the Russian Federation. This unique prize is awarded to socially responsible companies developing and introducing environmentally friendly, energy-efficient and resource-saving technology. It was established by the WBCSD's Regional Network partner Vernadsky Foundation and the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and received the support of the Federation Council.
